Objective
The student:
-knows how to work with an attitude of self-management and leading a team.
-can identify and interpret legislation, norms and collective agreements related to working life.
-is aware of his/her responsibility for the quality of nursing in his/her own activity and in the organization.
-can assess the quality of nursing work and the organization of nursing work, as well as prevent and identify quality deviations in all different stages of the care processes.
-is able to prevent and detect shortcomings in the quality of the nursing process.
-is able to evaluate quality throughout the nursing process and understand the responsibility in securing and promoting patient safety.

-Finnish labor legislation, collective agreements and national quality recommendations
-Treatment / Care recommendations, treatment classifications, quality systems, quality management.
-Cost awareness and the basics of financial operations
-Recruitment, induction, mentoring and student guidance
-Development discussions, lifelong learning
-Identifying nursing development and research targets
