Objective

Objectives
• The student is able to prepare the thesis in accordance with SeAMK’s thesis guidelines.
• The student is able to report the process of the research or development work logically and clearly so that an external reader understands how the thesis was carried out and how the results were produced.
• The student is able to write factual text, justify their claims, and use research sources in a diverse, critical and ethical manner.
• The student cooperates with parties connected to the thesis in the dissemination and publication of the results of their research and development work.
• The student is able to apply the knowledge they have acquired in practice and is able to evaluate their own activities and learning.
• The student participates in the handling and assessment of the thesis according to the degree programme’s practices.
• After the thesis has been approved, the student writes a maturity test.

• Finalising the content and formatting of the thesis according to the guidelines
• Language proofreading
• Turnitin plagiarism check
• Thesis assessment
• Publication of the thesis in Theseus
• Writing the maturity test

Assessment follows the Bachelor’s thesis evaluation criteria defined in SEAMK’s thesis guidelines.
