The student

The student recognizes the basis of ethical conduct in social work and related concepts. The student can explain key ethical principles, human rights conventions, and values in the social sector. The student recognizes professional responsibility and can describe its significance in working life. The student recognizes conflicts of professional ethics.

The student is able to examine the basis of ethical conduct in the social sector and its key concepts. The student understands the key ethical principles, human rights conventions, and values in the social sector. The student is able to reflect on professional responsibility and describe its significance in working life. The student recognizes conflicts of professional ethics and reflects on the values underlying them.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student is able to analyze the principles and theoretical concepts of ethical practice in social work. The student is able to analyze key ethical principles, human rights conventions, and values in social work. The student is able to evaluate professional responsibility and describe its impact on individuals and society. The student analyzes professional ethical conflicts from a variety of perspectives and justifies their reflection using ethical viewpoints.
