Objective
Student:
- is able to describe the Finnish social and health care system, its service structure, organization, and provision, and are familiar with the key laws and regulations governing the organization of social and health care services in Finland.
- is able to identify the key actors, service levels, and care pathways in social and health care in Finland, including preventive, basic, and specialized care.
- is able to identify the legislation, strategies, and ethical guidelines that govern Finnish social and health care.
- is able to explain how equality, accessibility, and customer orientation are implemented in Finnish social and health care.
- is able to analyze the significance of sustainable development in social and health services, taking into account environmental, social, and economic perspectives.
- is able to apply the principles of sustainable and responsible nursing in their own professional activities.
- is able to reflect on the importance of multidisciplinary cooperation and digital solutions in promoting effective and sustainable social and health services.

Student
- Recognizes and can describe the basic structure, actors, and service levels of the Finnish social and health care system.
- Recognizes key laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines, but their application remains partial.
- Describes the basic principles of sustainable development (environmental, social, and economic), but the examination is superficial.
- Recognizes the importance of equality and customer orientation, but is not always able to demonstrate them with practical examples.
- Participates in teaching and learning tasks under guidance; needs support in applying knowledge and reflecting on their own professional role.

- Explains and structures the functioning, financing, and service system of Finnish social and health care.
- Applies legislation, ethical principles, and guiding strategies in a justified manner.
- Understands and justifies the different dimensions of sustainable development and their significance in professional activities.

- Participates actively and responsibly in group and learning situations and demonstrates a developing ability to reflect on their own cultural and professional perspectives.

- Analyzes and critically and comprehensively evaluates the structure, management system, and development challenges of Finnish social and health care.
- Applies and combines legislation, ethical principles, and sustainable development perspectives innovatively in different situations.
