Objective

1) Professionalism and ethics
The student
- can work in accordance with the values, ethical principles and guidelines of perioperative nursing and can assess their implementation in daily work.
- be able to work in accordance with current legislation and information guidance.
- has adopted the professional identity of a nurse.
- is able to work in a professional role in perioperative nursing and to take responsibility for the consequences of his/her work.

2) Communication and information technology
The student
- can communicate professionally.

5) Clinical nursing
The student
- can respond to the needs of the patient by planning, implementing and evaluating appropriate and individualized care in collaboration with the patient, relatives and other social and health professionals.
- possesses knowledge and skills in the key surgical procedures and interventions required in perioperative nursing as part of the overall care of the patient.
- masters the principles of asepsis and infection control and is able to apply this knowledge in perioperative nursing care.
- can apply knowledge of anatomy and physiology when planning, implementing and evaluating the care of the surgical patient.
- is able to apply knowledge of anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology, applied pharmacology and the implementation of drug therapy in the planning of treatment, the planning, implementation and evaluation of perioperative drug therapy.
- has command of legislation and information guidance relating to drug therapy.
- has knowledge of the principles and methods of family nursing.
- can use a variety of methods to support the psycho-social and conscientious needs of patients and their families.
