Objective

The student is able to:

- Define main principles of musculoskeletal physiotherapy process
- know the basics of rehabilitation in surgery and traumatology
- Explain biopsychosocial frame of reference in musculoskeletal physiotherapy
- Can name commonly used forms, tests and meters in physiotherapy of upper limb and neck
- Can name possibilities of manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise in musculoskeletal physiotherapy
- Implement structured documentation
- Knows about pain management drugs

Content

- Rehabilitation of the most common problems of upper limb and neck
- Interview (forms), inspection (tests, meters, perception), therapeutic exercise
- Surgery, orthopedics, traumatology
- Physical therapy process: Guidance and advice, pain treatment, therapeutic exercise, supports and moving aids, documentation
- Pain (physiology and exercise)
- Biopsychosocial approach
- Medication

Student

- Can define main principles of musculoskeletal physiotherapy and understands biopsychosocial frame of reference in musculoskeletal physiotherapy passable
- Knows how to use the most common forms, tests and meters in physiotherapy of upper limb and neck passable
- Knows passable how use manual therapy techniques, treatments of physical therapy and therapeutic exercise in physiotherapy process of upper limb and neck
- Can passable implement structured documentation of physiotherapy process
- Knows passable the bascis of pre- and postoperative rehabilitation

Student

- Can partly define main principles of musculoskeletal physiotherapy and understands partially biopsychosocial frame of reference in musculoskeletal physiotherapy
- Knows partially how to use the most common forms, tests and meters in physiotherapy of upper limb and neck
- Knows partially how use manual therapy techniques, treatments of physical therapy and therapeutic exercise in physiotherapy process of upper limb and neck
- Can partly implement structured documentation of physiotherapy process
- Knows partially the bascis of pre- and postoperative rehabilitation
