Objective

- The student deepens their understanding of the key phenomena of building physics.
- The student is able use simulation software in the physical design of structures and draw conclusions on the operation of the building physics of structures.

Content

- heat and moisture transfer (addition to Construction physics 1)
- basics of building physical design (climatic conditions in Finland, indoor air conditions, materials qualities)
- criteria of building physical design, Finnish mold model
- use of simulation softwares (Wufi)

Construction Physics 1.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student is able to solve tasks on the basics of the course, similar to those dealt with in the course.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

In addition to the previous criteria, the student is able to use the basics of the course and apply them in various tasks and give reasons.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

In addition to the previous criteria, the student has a comprehensive understanding of the subject of the course. They can choose correct solutions to solve the problems of the subjects of the course and give logical reasons.
