Objective

Competence in structural engineering
The student learns to connect theory and practice.
The student draws up structural design documents of a one-family house.

Competence in the construction process
The student is able to
- explain the character of project work
- present the basic knowledge and skills on the basis of which he/she can participate in construction project work and project planning
- explain concepts connected with projects, content of a project plan, project time planing and supervising (life circle)
- present tasks connected with the different phases of the project cycle

Structural design of a one-family house

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Fail:
The criteria for the grade Pass are not met.
Pass:
The student is able to design the structure of a timber-framed one-family house and to make construction drawings based on that.
