After completing the course, the student will be able to use Mathcad in practical matters:
- Using variables and units
- Solving equations and systems of equations
- Calculating vectors
- The main points of differential and integral calculus
- Graphing
- Piecewise defined functions

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student knows in the Mathcad how to use variables and units and can solve equations and systems of equations.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

In addition to the above, the student knows in the Mathcad vector calculations, the main points of differential and integral calculus, graph drawing, and the processing of a piecewise defined function.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student is able to use Mathcad in a variety of demanding engineering problems that require combining information from multiple courses.
