The student has a satisfactory knowledge and understanding of the basic operation and concepts in components of control systems. He/she is able to select components to implement a control system.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student has a good understanding of the basic concepts and principles of operation in components of control systems. He/she is able to apply his/her knowledge to solve different types of problems and to select the appropriate components for a control system.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student has an excellent understanding of the concepts and principles of operation of various control technology components. He/she is able to apply his/her knowledge to solve different types of problems and to select appropriate components for different control systems.
