Objective

The student is able to

- assess the potential market and life cycle of cultural products from the business perspective
- develop the user-orientation and added value structure of cultural products and services
- describe the opportunities to exploit immaterial rights

- PESTE analysis
- Life Cycle Analysis (LCA)
- service design and user-orientation
- different immaterial rights and their importance in creative economy

Fair (2 to 1): The student assesses the business opportunities of cultural products and services as well as shows user-orientation and an understanding of the added value structure in development work. The students explains the importance of immaterial rights and licensing potential as part of the growth and success of a company.

Good (4 to 3): The student assesses the business opportunities of cultural products and services in a credible way as well as shows both user-orientation and a strong understanding of the added value structure in development work. The students explains in depth the importance of immaterial rights and licensing potential as part of the growth and success of a company.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Excellent (5): The student assesses the business opportunities of cultural products and services in an argumentative and credible way as well as shows strong, professional user-orientation and a deep understanding of the added value structure in development work. The students explains insightfully and in depth the importance of immaterial rights and licensing potential as part of the growth and success of a company.
