Objective
In this program, students from Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences (SeAMK) and Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU), will learn and experience healthcare and nursing. The main focus is health promotion in various fields of nursing and technology used in those fields. Culture and lifestyles of each country will be part of this course.
Content
Health promotion and self-care support in gerontological nursing, impact of patient's age, cultural background, life situation and service settings in gerontological nursing. Technology used in gerontological nursing. Brief overview of maternity and child care clinics.
Assessment criteria, approved/failed
Compulsory attendance in contact teaching. Active participation and co-operation with Japanese students.
