Objective

- Students will be competent in independently using information technology and commonly used office software in their studies. They will understand the significance of IT in their profession, and they have command of e-mail, the Moodle learning environment, presentations, word processing and basic spreadsheet calculation. Students will be capable of writing academic texts similar to the thesis.

- Using computers, equipment related to computers, and information networks at Seinäjoki UAS
- Using E-mail and the Moodle learning environment
- PowerPoint presentations
- Word processing
- spreadsheet calculation
- Writing texts according to Seinäjoki UAS's Guidelines for Writing Academic Texts

Students can utilize and apply computers and other peripherals and recognize the role of information technology in the field of hospitality management
Students can fluently and independently use IT-services e.g. e-mail and virtual learning environments
Students have a very good command of producing written documents according to the thesis instructions, compiling presentations, worksheets and charts
